Dr. Liu pursued her veterinary degree at St. George's University in Grenada. She completed her clinical training at the University of Minnesota. While fond of her time in the Caribbean and Midwest, she is excited to join the team at Grand Montecito Animal Hospital and be closer to back home in California.
Some of Dr. Liu's favorite memories from Grenada include her immediate food hyperfixation with roti, doubles, and last but certainly not least, ping pong snacks. Additionally, as a board member of her school's TNR (trap-neuter-release) club, she had the perfect excuse to scout across the island for any feral cats needing care. Though brief, her time in Grenada shaped her love for community medicine.
Dr. Liu was able to bring her two cats with her throughout vet school. Ironically, they were later joined by a little Grenadian puppy, and now, all three are happily here in Las Vegas. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Liu enjoys binge-watching shows on TV and exploring new food spots with friends. She also loves the occasional TikTok rabbit holes and deep-diving into whichever facts or niche topics her algorithm deems important - just don't be surprised if you catch her sharing one during your visit!
